This is a walk with plenty of views and a few inclines in order to enjoy them! Starting at Newlands corner we stay high across the top of Albury Downs before taking a small path down through The Roughs. As we cross Merrow Downs and up to Pewley Down there are some great views out across Guildford and beyond. We will only partially climb St Martha's but take a sandy track around the southern side before returning to Newlands and enjoying it's great views on our gradual ascent.
There are no stiles. After the recent rain some of the paths might be muddy and slippery. Good foot wear and poles recommended.

Meet at the far end (west end) of Newlands Corner CP. On the A25, on R as it crosses the North Downs.
