It's that time of year when the old favourites are brought out, Christmas songs on the radio, Mince Pies at home, and the embarassing Santa jumper at the party.
Now its time for a favourite walk. Starting at Newlands Corner where there is lots of free parking, a coffee stop and views at St Martha's Church. A lunch stop at Shere with a chance to puchase a slice of cake, an Esspresso or Ice Cream. And NO Christmas songs, mince pies or silly jumpers.
Walking from Newlands Corner, we take the North Downs Way into the Chantries woods, then turn east and walk upto St Martha's church for a coffee stop. Taking the Pilgrims way we walk through fields and amongst trees to Shere for our lunch stop. From Shere we head North for a climb upto the North Downs Way passing Netley Plantation.
