We are the Hampshire 40+ Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A shorter walk - perfect for new members to join us and some hills to ascend with great views if the visibility is good!
A loop from Meonstoke via Old Winchester Hill.
Well behaved dogs welcome on leads -be prepared for livestock in fields.
Walking poles would be a good option for going up & down the hills.
Bring picnic lunch/snack/refreshments for one stop.
There are no toilets on the route.
You are welcome to join me for optional post-walk drinks at the Bucks Head pub in Meonstoke.
Please park at the Village Hall car park and aim to be there for 10.15 in good time for a prompt start at 10.30am.
