Overview

Walking in an anticlockwise route. Visting the church at East Grimstead and then Pepperbox Hill for lunch, (bring your one lunch). Then back to West Dean and then the Car Park.

For those who want to go by train, there is a station at West Dean, called 'Dean'. If you let me know when you arrive at the station, I can pick you up on my way to the Car Park at Bentley Wood.

About a mile north of West Dean there is a left turn 'Scouts Lane' then for about 1/4 of a mile turn left up a gravel lane to where the Bentley Wood map sign is.
