A pleasant Saturday circular stroll through the rolling Hampshire countryside between the two pretty villages of Bishops Waltham & Droxford.
This walk is ideal for new members or anyone who would like to try walking with the group for the first time. Bishops Waltham is also served by a regular bus service from Winchester or Fareham so is also ideal for those who rely on public transport.
Toilets are available in the car park.
Please bring refreshments for a morning coffee stop & lunch.
Well behaved dogs welcome with well behaved owners!
Some paths may be muddy.
There is the option of drinks at the end of the walk at the Crown Inn.
The walk will commence from the Basingwell Street car park in Bishops Waltham, which is pay & display. As it is a Saturday, the car park may be busy - there is alternative parking available at the nearby Jubilee Hall which usually has plenty of spaces available. Please allow extra time to arrive in good time. Please aim to arrive around 20 mins ahead of the walk to ensure you have time to park.
