Overview

An interesting circular walk returning to Dundus Aqueduct along the route of Palladian Way. Last walked in 2021 on the Wednesday programme. From the Brass Knocker Basin we climb up through woods to the hamlet of Conkwell, before continuing to Inwood which has an ancient cairn in the auspicious area of Jug's Grave. Using a network of footpaths we walk to Monkton Farleigh with more interesting buildings and relics, including the Monks Conduit, where we join the southern end of the Palladian Way. It's a stride across level ground to the woods where rumour abound about the identity of Sally and down hill to Dundas Aqueduct.
