A circular walk over hilltops in the north west of the Pentland Hills offering great views of the city, the Pentland Hills and the Firth of Forth.
Starting at Torphin Road Bus terminus, we will walk towards Bonaly Country Park, ascend White Hill, followed by a more gentle ascent to the summit of Capelaw Hill, take in a small knoll, then make a short descent before steadily ascending Harbour Hill. Our return descends towards Bonaly Reservoir, passing Torduff Reservoir to return to the start.
Our route mostly follows marked paths, with a small distance on a no through road. Ground conditions may be muddy in places, so gaiters and poles are recommended.
If you would like to join this walk, please contact the walk leader to register your interest and advise of any issues that may affect your ability to complete the walk.
Regretfully dogs are not permitted on our walks.
