Overview

Starting from the Cricket Club car park on Factory Lane we follow the old railway into Lower Penwortham continuing through part of Higher Penwortham before dropping down to the River Ribble. Following the Ribble Way we cross the old bridge to enter Miller and Avenham Parks, then after a look at the progress with the rebuilding of the Tramway Bridge we return along the old railway to the car park.
