Overview

A leisurely walk across Pevensey Marshes in a sociable atmosphere. Almost completely without hills, there are a few flights of steps and some stiles. The walk crosses a very fast, and busy, main road twice. Cattle and sheep in fields. There will be a refreshment stop at Chilley Farm prior to the concluding stretch of the walk.

Meet by the cannon on the green to the west of Pevensey Castle. Roadside parking, or in the village hall car park (TQ639046). Westham railway station is 5-10 minutes walk from the start.
