Using the train from Robertsbridge to Stonegate we'll walk back, please bring your lunch for a break along the way.
On a clear day this undulating route gives constant, beautiful views across the Rother and Dudwell valleys. The muddiest paths will be as we re-enter Robertsbridge!
There are several stiles, all in fair condition and only one where the dog would need to be lifted over.
Train leaving Tunbridge Wells at 09.50 arrives Stonegate at 10.07
Train from Hastings, leaving Robertsbridge at 10.14 arrives Stonegate at 10.23.
Stonegate Train Station, meet by the station entrance. Walk will start as soon as the train has arrived from Hastings via Robertsbridge.
Car park at station - charges apply. There's a small village car park, often full, or on street parking near The George Inn. Please allow at least 10mins to get from street parking to station.
