Overview

At a relaxed pace the walk ascends to Rushmere Pond on Wimbledon Common then descends to Beverley Brook and Queensmere Pond. There will be a morning stop at the Windmill (toilets), then on to further ponds before returning to the Windmill for a late lunch. After lunch the walk visits the remaining ponds and finishes in Wimbledon Village with buses to Putney and Wimbledon.

Lunch: picnic/cafe at the Windmill.

Train: London Waterloo 10:06; Clapham Junction 10:14; Arr Wimbledon 10:22. Wimbledon station (Zone 3) is also served by District Line and Thameslink. Return from Wimbledon or Putney stations - get bus from Wimbledon Village to station.
