A walk through the village of Alltwen, up onto Graig Ola, returning from Glais via the cycle path and the old railway line.

Directions: 

  • Follow the A4067 north from Swansea towards Brecon.
  • At the roundabout by Tesco, take the 2nd exit A474.
  • At the next roundabout, take the 4th exit for Neath A474.
  • Follow the dual carriageway over the bridge
  • At the roundabout at the top take the 4th exit
  • Come back down the other side of the dual carriageway.
  • The left turn into The Pontardawe Inn (The Gwachel) is just before the roundabout at the bottom of the bridge.
  • Drive past the pub and park on the old road.
