Overview

The walk is leisurely/moderate, with an optional significant hill. Starting in the Pontesford Hill car park  we will coutour around the lower edges of Pontesford Hill and Earl's Hill. Then through Habberley, following part of the Chris Bagley Walk (could be muddy). We then enter Eastridge Wood, which is an area which includes cycling tracks, though we don't plan to walk on them, passing between Snailbeach Coppice & Lords Hill. Then out through Maddox's Coppice to follow a bit more of the Chris Bagley Walk, including Poles Coppice & Lees Coppice.  We then head over fields (could be muddy) to the imposing Earl's Hill (320m), though a simple detour will be provided for those who want to save their knees! There are some sections of unavoidable mud, but hopefully less than in early November...
