Overview

A pleasant, circular walk starting at Purton, walking along the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal alongside the 'ship's graveyard', through Sharpness Docks and over the hill back to Purton with spectacular views of the Severn.

It's largely flat.

I've revised the route we shall take to avoid a difficult stile and muddy patch, previously mentioned. It means replacing it with a walk along the pavement, but I believe in the current conditions it will be better.
