Overview

The walk begins in the free Wireworks car park, located off Forge Road, Tintern. We climb to Penterry Church for a coffee break (bring your own) via lanes and fields. The walk continues through woods and descends to Tintern alongside the Angidy River, passing disused ironworks, evidence of the industrial heritage of the area.
