Overview

From Pontlottyn ascend to Pen Garnbugail 477m (1565ft) highest point of Gelligaer Common -views far and wide. Rough moorland descent to Nant Llwynog Park, Bedlinog.  Ascend to Kite Trails, Craig Fargoed Cemetery to Gelligaer Common and Capel Gwladys to Bargoed for return train.

Catching 09.11 train from Cardiff Central or stations between to Pontlottyn (10.13)
