Overview

Ramsbottom is home to the East Lacashire Railway and sits below Holcombe Moor, with the Peel Tower within easy reach for both A & B walkers. C Walkers may find the Irwell Sculpture Trail more appealing. Whilst we could travel there via the M62 today we will pick-up on our going south route, and then use the M58, M6 and M65 (stopping at the Junction 4 Services). Then the A56, past Haslingden, to Ramsbottom.
