Overview

Crossing the common onto farmlands, woods and a golf course. The last section is to the south of Polesden Lacey. 8 stiles, 2 steep ascents and 2 slightly less steep descents. Mud a distinct possibility but some good views and interesting walking.

Hogden Lane off Ranmore Common Road. From Dorking Ranmore Road onto Ranmore Common Road. Turn right at the east end of the common onto Hogden Lane. From Guildford on A 246, at East Horsley turn right onto Green Dene, left onto Crocknorth Road and continue on Ranmore Common Road. Turn left into Hogden Lane. No car park charges.
