We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This moderate 9 mile walk starts next to Ridgegate reservoir near The Leathers Smithy pub, Langley. SJ95757138. SK11 0NS.
We will meet at 10am and please make sure you are parked in an official bay or you could well be fined. We will have a coffee stop and a lunch stop. There is about 1700 ft of ascent. Walking up to Toot Hill then along to Forest Chapel, Standing Stone, skirt round Shuttlingsloe then down to the Crag inn. Over the fields to Oaken Clough and eventually Gritstone trail and back to the cars.
