Overview

From Nelson Pit car park this walk goes along the canal to Bridge 16 and then up to Green Farm, we will go along past West Park Lodge and then from Green Close up to Moorside and Keepers Cottage which is a climb of nearly 1,000ft. We will decend down Birchencliff and back to Canal Bridge 18 via Lockgate Farm and return back along the canal.

Walk is around 6.5 miles but I did have difficulty when measuring.
