Overview

Route: Out via Whitty Lane to Upper Hulme, then along the Roaches ridge to Hanging Stone, skirting Swythamley Park then back via Bearda Mill and Gun Hill.

Moderate/Strenuous in parts.

Toilets just after the start at Tittesworth. Sunset 15.51 (timeanddate.com).

Bring packed lunch. No dogs.

Ground frozen on recce. May be wet underfoot in a few places if thawed - gaiters advisable.
