From the hamlet of Ryal, our route takes us to the village of Maften, Great Whittington and Bingfield.  Some sections of the walk will be on St Oswald's Way.

Please park considerately at a small off-road parking area in Ryal. This is about 200m from the crossroads in Ryal on the road signposted towards Chollerton, as shown in the map. Parking is limited so car sharing is important. We try to offer an informal share from Hexham - please contact the walk leader if you are interested (driver or passenger).
