Sunday 19 May; Start at 10am from Newgate Bank car park (Grid ref: SE563 890)
Starting from the car park at Newgate Bank the route heads north east along Rievaulx Bank and then north in the direction of the derelict farms at Carr Cote and New House. After a short walk through Birch Wood we cross the Bilsdale road and head west, passing through Low Ewe Cote Farm. A path on the east side of Easterside Hill takes us south through Fair Hill Farm to Broadway Foot, at which point we climb through Newgate Plantation and back to the cars.
9.5 miles, 1400' ascent; Assistance dogs only with prior consent of the leader. The car park is free but there are no public toilets.
