This circular route takes us from the noisy bustling city centre of Salford and Manchester to the beautiful quiet riverside green paths, established country lanes of Kersal moor, dale and wetlands that are surrounded by the growing new urban landscape and towers of Salford.
This walk includes points of social historical interest such as: the second oldest building in Salford; the site of one of the first golf courses in England and the tragic crash of a Lancaster bomber
Please wear appropriate footwear/walking boots as the paths can be muddy in parts
