Overview

The Sandlings Walk, First part. The walk is a 60 miles linear walk, which will be divided into 5 parts. It starts in Ipswich and finishes at the Pier in Southwold. Road works on the Orwell Bridge have now finished.

Park first car at Melton Riverside CP, Wilford Bridge Road, Melton, on A1152 at 10am.

Park second car at St. Augustine's Community Hub, Bucklesham Rd, Broke Hall, Ipswich The Hub is opposite the Church, permission given. to park. We walk from here at 10.30am.

We pass Foxhall Stadium, The Long Strops to Martlesham, then we walk along the river Deben, through Woodbridge to Melton. 

Please bring a packed lunch and drink , or purchase lunch in a pub in Woodbridge
