The walk will start at 10.30am.
Walk Details: a 9.5 mile circular walk starting at Sunningdale Train Station. We will walk briefly along the A30 to a footpath that leads to Coworth Park. We will cross over London Road and enter Windsor Great Park and walk towards Blacknest Gate and cross over the Five Arch Bridge. We will walk through Valley Gardens enjoying the spectacular displays of spring blossom as we walk towards the Punch Bowl which will be the highlight of the walk if the azalea's are in full bloom. We will then follow Virginia Water Lake round passing the totem pole, Virginia Water car park, the cascade before exiting near Blacknest Gate to walk along London Road to Coworth Park where we will then walk around the polo ground before exiting on to Whitmore Lane. We will walk along Whitmore Lane past the Memorial and on to Bedford Lane and then follow a footpath towards the A30 and walk back to Sunningdale train station.

We will be walking mainly on gravel tracks and footpaths, however suitable walking boots will be needed as following heavy rain some of the footpaths can be muddy.
As usual bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. There are toilet facilities on the walk at Valley Gardens and Virginia Water Lake car park.
After the walk there is the option of visiting a local pub or local coffee shops for a social drink.

Direct train to Sunningdale from Reading to London Waterloo - 9.39am train leaves Reading and arrives at Sunningdale 10.11am (please check train times in case of any changes).
