We are the Shrewsbury Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a walk based on an edited version of the Severn Bridges 10k run course but with added stops for carol singing. We won't be running! We will use backing tracks courtesy of Mr. Spotify.
We start at the Bandstand in the Quarry where we will sing our first carol then progress along the river, stopping under some of the bridges for another festive song. That way we stay dry if it is raining. There will be a relaxed coffee stop at either the House or Stop Cafe or a nearby bench if you prefer to bring your own.
Ron will bring backing tracks and song sheets. You just have to bring your singing voices.
There will be a mini quiz at the end on identifying the bridges you have been on. Please bring your phones because we will do the quiz using the Social WhatsApp group (you can always share - it will be a joint effort no doubt :)
There is no separate meeting point for this, we will all meet and start at the Bandstand.
