We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Sheriff Hutton we will follow the Ebor Way climbing up to Mowthorpe Lane where we will visit Avis's plot in the Garden of Rest. There is one quite long climb, one stile and some road walking on quiet roads.
Because of the late start there will be no coffee stop and lunch will be about 13.30. The pace will be quite brisk in order to catch the return bus.

Catch the no 81 bus from Station Avenue at 11.10 or from Stonebow at 11.18 to arrive in Sheriff Hutton for a 12.05 start.
