Overview

BOOKING REQUESTED

From the Cat and Fiddle the path leads north, then northwesterly to Shining Tor. We retrace our steps to the path leading easterly towards Goyt’s Moss.  Then south crossing the A537 to join the Dane Valley Way over Axe Edge moor and Orchard Common. Across the A54 then following a moorland path back to the Cat and Fiddle.  Risk assessment: Two crossings of the A537, and one of the less busy A54.  Mainly moorland walking, paths may be uneven and muddy. Some stiles.
