This undulating walk explores the countryside overlooking the Severn Estuary to the west of Chepstow. It encompasses the attractive village of Shirenewton, an interesting Iron Age Fort, a secluded combe and various panoramic views, including both bridges across the Severn. There are several short steep climbs and some stiles.

Car pooling available. Meet at Wilton Road Car Park, Ross on Wye at 8:30am. Shirenewton Village Hall would apprecieate £1 donation per Rambler for using their car park. Thanks.
The Tredegar Arms is open for refreshments at the end of the walk.
