A circular route initially following the Downs Link before crossing the River Adur by the Old Shoreham Bridge. Walking southerly adjacent to the airport before passing the houseboats and eventually making our way to the shore along the King Charles III Coast Path/Shoreham Beach to the Fort.
Our returns follows hard/paved footpaths alongside Shoreham Harbour returning across the River Adur via the swing bridge and terminating as we enter Shoreham town centre.
Lunch break - so bring a packed lunch, numerous cafes in the town centre at the end of the walk also.
Ideally situated to utilise public transport with frequent services by train and buses to Shoreham-By-Sea
Car parking - the obvious car park is at Adur Memorial Recreation Ground, Brighton Road, Shoreham. BN43 5LT . W3W ///starring.nurtures.porridge but it can fill up quickly..However, there are several car parks in Shoreham and a selection can be found here:

A number of them have Sunday rates for only £1.00 all day (e.g. Tarmount Lane car park) Dogs on lead.
