From the carpark we will walk through Park Wood which was once famed for it huge Beach tress, but many were lost to the great strom of 1987. Some of the original trees can still be spotted towering above the canopy today.
From the woods we will start to climb towards Nore Hill making our way to the Folly, with fine views across the estate and towards the English Channel.
The folly was built in 1814 by the Countress of Newburgh to take tea with her friends.
We then decend to the village of Slindon walking past the pond and return to the carpark
