Overview

This is a short walk of around 3 miles.

We will park our cars at the Rose Reilly Sport centre, Stewarton

We will walk to David Dale Road and enter the Lainshaw woods. There we will walk along the Annick Water along the fisherman's path. This is on a woodland path which has some inclines but nothing too strenuous. There is one set of steps to negotiate but this has a hand rail for most of it. We will have a short break at the viewpoint and then we will walk through a lovely woodland towards Kilwinning Road.

We then have a short section along a country road , where care needs to be taken.

This walk could be extended through some of the residential areas of Stewarton and Cunningham Watt Park if walkers feel that they would like to continue, but then it would become a 5 Mile walk
