Overview

A slower paced walk than usual - also with an option to cut it short after the first hill (making that 3 miles instead of 7.4) if anyone wants to do so.

Fabulous views from the Iron Age hillfort - one of Shropshire's three Caer Caradocs - and up to Black Hill. Stunning views to the north and east on the 2nd half - both Clee Hills and the South Shropshire hills.

Redlake Valley is a hidden valley, not well known, but the venue for our Walk Leader training, when some attendees asked me to put on a walk in the area.

More road walking than average, along quiet country roads, keeping out of the winter mud as much as possible.
