Come and see the glorious display of snowdrops in Castlemilk park.
This is an urban walk through a number of parks starting with Kings Park, then following part of the Magnificent 11 route, up to Castlemilk Park to see the snowdrops.
After a coffee break at the Jeely Piece Cafe, the walk heads back to Overtoun Park then Stonelaw Wood to reach Burnside Station from where we will return to Glasgow Central.
This walk is mainly on tarmac paths and pavements. It is a steady uphill walk to Castlemilk Park.
The only stop will be at the Jeely Piece Cafe. Here you can either enjoy a coffee and cake in the Cafe or eat your own outside, or both! There are toilets at the cafe.
If you wish to come on the walk you must contact the Leader (Sandra) in advance by email or text but not more than two weeks in advance. Also please provide the Leader with a mobile phone number in case arrangements change.
If you’ve not had a response within a couple of days please check your junk mail.
Walkers should not come on the walk if they have any symptoms associated with the Covid virus.
