Overview

A chance to enjoy the beautiful Snowdrops of Sweeney mountain, as well as some spectacular scenery on the way.

We follow a series of country lanes, fields and tracks and walk via the Woodhill estate to Nant Farm, from thence to Chapel House farm, beyond which we have our coffee break. Then we proceed to Sweeney mountain to enjoy the snowdrops and views of the Shropshire plain and the Breiddens. We return to Gronwen for a lunch stop and then via the Woodhill estate to the start. There are one or two areas of rough ground and 10 stiles. The countryside is hilly with plenty of up and downhill sections, but nothing too onerous. Horses, cattle and sheep are possible in places.

There will be a coffee stop and a lunch stop - so please bring provisions with you.
