Overview

We start from Sourton and first head past the ice works and skirt around Sourton Tors before heading to Lake Down. From here we’ll see good views of Lake Viaduct before descending to walk under the viaduct and cross over the road to walk to Sourton Quarry, now transformed into a lake. Return is through some meadows which are looking lovely at the moment.

Dogs on leads. Two stiles, both dog friendly. Uphill right from the start before levelling out. Steepish descent down to Lake. Mostly tracks and paths with a bit of lane and road walking. Care needed when we cross the A386.

Please book onto walk by texting walk leader. Bring a drink for our coffee stop.
