We are the Ross-on-Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We will start from St Briavels Castle and follow old tracks, field paths and quiet lanes through Hewelsfield, with its pretty church, down through Brockweir along the Wye and back up to the castle. If the weather cooperates, there should be good views across the Severn and Wye valleys. If it has rained recently it will be muddy, and there is one shallow stream crossing, so poles are advisable. There are several stiles.
Bring packed lunch and refreshments. Limit of 20 walkers. No dogs.
For those wishing to car pool, I suggest leaving Wilton Road Car Park at 9:10am.
