Overview

A delightful walk from the village of Stamfordham along the valley of the How Burn to Fenwick. From here we climb gently up via Moralees Crag to Ingoe, a settlement dating from the Bronze Age. Our return over Brackness Hill takes in North Fens and skirts Birneys Plantation before heading south through fields to Stamfordham. Be ready to cross a number of stiles.
