Overview

An excellent walk through some of the most attractive countryside in South Derbyshire.

Starting from Staunton Harold Reservoir car park we walk beside this well know and beautiful reservoir, enjoying some great views over rolling countryside. We then make our way through Calke Park, now in the care of the National Trust, to historic Calke Abbey where we will stop for refreshments and a well earned rest before our return.
