We are the Strathkelvin Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A leisurely circular walk beginning and ending at Southbank Car Park. The route consists of a combination of tracks, paths and roads. We walk via Luggie Park, Waterside, Stonneyetts then to the Auchengeich Disaster Memorial. We then return along the old Strathkelvin Railway track via the Whitegates area to finish back at Southbank.
The area around Stoneyetts has been subject to great development which should surprise any of our group who know the district. The Disaster Memorial is of significant importance to remind us of the hardship faced by the men who worked there.
