We are the West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Stourhead we will ascend to the top of White Sheet Hill. It’s around a 300 foot ascent, flat’ish to start with a steeper bit towards the top, the views from the top are worth it though if the weather is kind to us. We then pick up the Mid Wilts Way and descend into Mere and a lunch stop on the site where Mere Castle once stood. After our break we will make our way back to Stourhead on a lowland route skirting Zeals Knoll and Search Farm. Bring snack/lunch.
