Pleasant variety of walking with one steep descent from the edge of Salisbury Plain and one final gradual ascent on return. Route: Eastcott, Parham Wood, Lavington Sands, Wick Farm, Manor House Woods, Market Lavington Church, West Lavington. Scope for shortening by 2 miles for those desiring to, but steeper final ascent. One stop: Bring substantial snack.
