Overview

A leisurely walk through the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then through Hackney Marshes, following the River Lea through the Walthamstow Wetlands to the Engine House which has a cafe and toilets.

Bring food as we will picnic on the way.

The walk by the River Lea can be muddy. 

From the Engine House there is either the opportunity to explore the other reservoirs or to directly take the short road walk to Blackhorse Road Station to catch the Victoria Line or the Suffragette Line.
