Route: Edenbridge - Pootings - Toy's Hill - Ide Hill - Goathurst Common - Whitley Forest - Millbank Wood - Sevenoaks.
Food: Lunch at the Cock Inn, Ide Hill, or picnic on the green.
Drop-out point: Taxi from Ide Hill after 5.5 miles.
Travel: Train from Victoria at 09:35 (Portsmouth Harbour service), calling at Clapham Junction at 09:42 and East Croydon at 09:53 and arriving Redhill at 10:04, where change for the 10:21 Tonbridge service which arrives Edenbridge at 10:36.
Frequent return trains from Sevenoaks. Those with a zone 1-6 travelcard should buy two singles - out: boundary of zone 6 (Coulsdon South) to Edenbridge; return: single from Sevenoaks to Knockholt.
