Overview

A moderate-paced circular walkwith some gentle undulation, in the Hertfordshire countryside through woodland, the landscaped parkland of Brocket Hall, Lamer House and Ayot Place, and fields.

Lunch stop at the pretty village of Ayot St Lawrence, where there is a pub and small green by the old church for picnic lunches. Please bring adequate food with you as there may not be time for a pub lunch.

No drop-out points.

Travel: Great Northern train from King’s Cross at 10:06 (Cambridge service) arriving at Welwyn Garden City at 10:36.
