We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk from Newhaven. This is a hilly hike with breathtaking views over the coastline for much of the way. Walking along the coast until Telscombe cliffs, with a possible opportunity for a pub lunch and picnic lunch. We will then walk around the back of Peacehaven and back via the River Ouse.
Catch the #12A bus at 09:23 from Brighton Sea Life Centre bus stop. Arrives in Newhaven town centre at 09:58. Then a short 15 minute walk along Fort Road to the start point at the Castle Hill Car park at Newhaven Fort.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
