A pleasant walk from Taplow village across the newly developed Maidenhead Riverside Park towards the Thames at Maidenhead Bridge. We then follow this beautiful stretch of the Thames, under Brunel's sounding bridge arch to reach Amerden. We cut across to the Jubilee River and back to Taplow. We can then enjoy a picnic lunch on the Green at Taplow before driving the short distance to Taplow Court which opens its gates at 12.30 for an open day, a chance to see Taplow Court House, open at 2pm and the very lovely gardens from 12.30. Free entry. Tea and cakes are available to purchase from 2pm.
Meet in the free Taplow Village car park which is signposted off Rectory Road in Taplow.
