Starting from the Alders Pub car park entrance we make our way through Sherwood Heath and up onto the newly established Thoresby Vale Country Park.
A 350 hectare site of heathland habitat with great 360 degree views around the area from our vantage point at the top.
We make our way down towards the Sherwood Visitor Centre, continuing through Sherwood Forest Country Park, via the Major Oak and Robin Hood Way before returning back to Sherwood Heath through woodland and heathland

Car sharing is encouraged where possible. If you would like to do this please meet at Chapelgate Car Park (Free on Sundays) Please note the walk leader will not be at Chapelgate and will meet you at the Walk Start point.
There are parking spaces at the start of the walk.
