Overview

From Clough Bank we go through Tinkers Clough, then take the canal towpath to Higher Hurdsfield and field paths/tracks to Swanscoe farm, past Endon Hall and pass below White Nancy before descending via Hurst Lane to the canal and returning along the towpath to the car park.
Some paths are likely to be muddy, and some will be slippery if wet - wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and bring poles if you usually use them.
Bring drinks and snacks for a coffee stop.
